Record production of apples in Trentino

The year 2010 will remain as a particular vintage in the region of Trentino.

While apple production in Europe decreased by about 15%, the Trentino region has increased its production with a record of 3 million 300 thousand quintal.

Good weather conditions and renewal of orchards have resulted in a historic production, with few stocks and an increase in average prices which have recovered levels of the 2008-2009 years.
