Blueberry exports are in increase

Exports should increase at least by 22% according to the Chilean Committee of Blueberry.
The Chilean Committee of Blueberry estimates that exports expected to exceed this year shipments of 2009-2010.
According to current figures, exports of blueberries should extend more than 22% of shipments from last year which reached a total of 49,793 tons.
The United States should receive about 82% of current exports. The rest will go to Canada and Europe.
The blueberry crop is finished in the northern regions, almost finished in the central zone of Chile, under way in south-central regions and begins in the southern zone.
