Heinz looking to sell European frozen food business

US food giant Heinz is expected to sell ifs European frozen foods operations within the next 12 months. "Selling the European Seafood and Frozen & Chilled Food businesses would be a major step in our plan to further enhance sales and earnings growth in Europe," said Heinz Europe President and CEO Joe Jimenez in a statement. In 2004, Heinz's European Seafood and Frozen & Chilled Food businesses has sales of US$1.1 billion.
