Kohl's reports increase in October sales

US supermarket group Kohl's has reported a 16.4 percent increase in its October sales to US$958.2 million On a comparable basis this represents a 6.0 percent increase. During the month of October, the company opened 41 new stores, bringing the total number to 637.
