2001 citrus production up slightly

The 2001 Argentine citrus production is forecast to be slightly higher than the previous year, due to better climatic conditions in some of the producing areas. Lemon production for 2001 season is forecast at 1.17 million metric tons, or 7,889 metric tons more than in 2000.
