Premium sector almost 10 percent of UK grocery market

According to international food & grocery think tank IGD, the value of the UK premium food sector is around £11.5 billion, almost 10 percent of the grocery market. The premium sector is growing in the UK as the public become more aware of health issues and through the growing popularity of cookery programmes on TV.
