Major Potato Conference Announced

SCRI and Mylnefield Research Services have announced a major international conference to celebrate the UN International Year of the Potato. The event will be held on Friday 8th August 2008.
Entitled Improving International Potato Production, the conference will be held in Dundee in August 2008.
Guest speakers at the conference include: Dr Pamela Anderson, Director General, CIP (International Potato Centre, Peru), Jean-Marc Rotsaert, Vice President Research and Development, PepsiCo, Dr Mike Storey, Head of Research and Development, BPC (British Potato Council) and Professor Peter Gregory, Director of SCRI.
The conference will be attended by a high level Chinese delegation that will be visiting the UK as part of the UK – China Development Dialogue 2008.
The conference will be held at the West Park Conference Centre, Perth Road, Dundee on Friday 8 August 2008.
