The "radicchio" salad certified PGI

Tony Bongiovanni, Fructidor's country manager for Italy, informs us that the "radicchio" salad has obtained the PGI certification that concerns three varieties of radicchio : the "radicchio rosso di Treviso - varieta tardivo" ; the "radicchio rosso di Treviso - varieta precoce" and the"radicchio variegato di Castelfranco". Fivty five communes of the provinces of Treviso, Padova and Venezia produce these renown varieties.
