A plan to promote the trade of organic products has been outlined by the Commerce Ministry.
The plan aims to increase the manufacture and trade of environment-friendly and healthy products, both food and non-food organic items, for domestic and overseas markets.
The trade of organic products worldwide has been growing by 20-30% annually and wants to reach 219 million rai by the end of this year.

The ministry also provides support through its Commerce Intelligence unit, which was organized to improve the market expansion, and links between the production and supply chains.
