Carrefour to make investments in Colombia

Carrefour has said that it will invest US$100 million in Colombia in 2006. The investments will be used to build at least 5 new hypermarkets and to modernise the company's supply chain. Carrefour's Colombian unit recently announced a 26 percent increase in sales.
