Carton Pack launched a project that brings new value to recycled plastics (rPET)

Early 2020, Carton Pack Spa, one of the leading Italian companies in the field of fresh food and food packaging, launched a valuable corporate project in the area of corporate social responsibility. The objectives of the project are first, to give recycled plastic (RPET) a completely new and unique value, and second, to take actions, which are more decisive to ensure environmental and social sustainability in compliance with the objectives set by the United Nations.

Today, Carton Pack is the first and only processor of European Social Plastic®, plastic recovered from the oceans according to the ethics of sustainability. Buying fruit and vegetables in a Social Plastic package will mean rewarding work and improving the living conditions of people in emerging countries, helping to heal the oceans and their environment from the enormous pollution in which they live.

New models (such as C250KTS, H, etc...) for tomatoes, grapes, berries, cherries are the new Social Plastic products range, made with recycled raw material. The packaging guarantees full suitability for food contact and it is easy to recognize as it marked with an exclusive thermoformed brand on the bottom.
