Argentine apple exports in the first half of 2023 reached approximately 13,000 pallets, indicating a 15% decline compared to the same period last year.
According to local media, in terms of volume, these shipments accounted for over 13,500 tons and were transported via the port of San Antonio Este (SAE).
It is important to note that these figures represent a significant decrease of 94% compared to the export peak witnessed in the first half of 2005. During that period, the SAE facilitated the shipment of over 205,000 pallets of apples.
