Pineapple exports surpass $2 million in the first semester

Peru's fresh pineapple exports between January and June 2022 totaled 153.544 kilos worth $2.034.269. It is a moderate increase from the 101.774 kilos shipped in the same term of 2021 for $1.364.063, according to the Agrodata portal.

In the analyzed period of 2022, the main destination of this Peruvian fruit was the United States, where revenues of $1.9 million were achieved.

It should be noted that throughout 2021 Peruvian pineapple exports reached 298.855 kilos for $5.533.741. The United States concentrated the great part of supplies ($5.4 million).
