Jingold kiwi crop rises 30% year-over-year

This year’s crop was 30% higher for Jingold due to increasing production of the trees that the company planted 3–4 years ago. 

“We have almost finished the stock for red, and we will continue with the gold variety approximately until April. Today, we operate in more than 30 countries, but mainly in Germany, Italy, and France. In Europe, we work directly with retailers or service providers, while overseas we work with distributors and importers. We export everywhere we can: the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Middle East, Asia, and so on.”, comments Federico Milanese, Jingold Export Manager.

Through collaboration with Marvel, the company continues to boost kiwifruit consumption among the younger generation and increase sales for smaller caliber fruits.  

“The new concept: «Mini-kiwi superheroes» is a combination of 3 different punnets with different characters: Spider-Man, Avengers and Hulk adapted to Red, Gold and Green kiwis. The packaging is sustainable for a perfect fit with the target groups.”.
