With the title “Maslina Split 2008”, on 23-24 February an International Summit of Mediterranean olive producers will be held in Croatia.
The organization expects over one thousand participating operators in Split, one of the largest cites in Croatia and the largest on the Croatian Adriatic coast.
Croatia currently counts 60 thousands olive producers and 124 oil factories, which last year produces around 60,000 hectolitres of olive oil.
