Pears set Argentine export records in the first half of 2026

A group of 117 agroindustrial products generated record sales of more than USD 7 billion.
Pears brought Argentina USD 207 million in export revenue during the first half of 2026, placing the fruit among a group of products that reached record values, according to the Agriculture Secretariat.
The list extends beyond fresh pears. Dried pears and apples, plums, cucumber preparations and beans were among smaller products whose export performance also reached record levels.
Altogether, 117 agroindustrial products generated USD 7.073 billion, 58% more than in the first half of 2025. They represented 26% of Argentina’s agroindustrial export value for the six-month period.
