17,8% growth for Delhaize in 2001

Sales of the Belgian distributor Delhaize have recorded a 17,8% growth in 2001 to Euro 21,4 billion, further to the group's acquisition in the States. Delhaize's US activities (under Hannaford & Food Lion banners) stand for 80% of the group's turnover.
