Terena integrates ValNantais in its group

Effective from September 30 , the merger decided in February (our info from 24.02 ) brings the vegetable terena activity which was missing.

ValNantais now is the specialized branch terena vegetables while retaining its identity " ValNantais " and its headquarters in Saint -Julien -de Concelles (department 44).

President ValNantais , Patrick Briand, joined the Board of Directors and chairs the terena Vegetables commission terena. Its director, Didier Baley , integrates the management committee of the upstream division and controls the vegetables activity.

ValNantais is a vegetable cooperative ( 45 members, 250 employees), which has completed 55 million euros and has sold 20,000 tons of vegetables, 25% for export.

The terena cooperative group ( 22,000 members, 12,000 employees ) achieved in 2012 a turnover of 4.5 billion euros in food areas where it was present (except the vegetable sector which was not included ).
