The signed protocol allows Egyptian table grapes to enter the Chinese market for the first time.
After two years of investigations and inspections, a protocol has just been signed allowing the Egyptian exports of tablegrapes to enter for the first time in China.
The protocol was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture in Cairo, Egypt, with Deputy Minister Chen Gang (AQSIQ), the Chinese Health Administration. The Director of the AQSIQ and the Chinese Ambassador to Egypt were also present.
This protocol allows Egyptian table grapes, for the first time, to be exported to China. It was made possible thanks to the work of HEIA (Horticultural Export Improvement Association), the association for the improvement of horticultural exports.
