Blueberry crop is increasing

Stable climate has allowed the development of normal blueberries harvest according to the Committee's report Blueberry Chile.

 
The export volume is still higher than last season. Until week 45, 576 tons were shipped or 66% more than last season.

 
In northern countries (regions IV-V), the peak volume is reached next week. The harvest is expected to last another 2 or 3 weeks, according to the Committee Blueberry.

 
In the central zone (regions VI-RM), the peak will be reached in early December. In south-central (areas VII-VIII), coastal areas have already started harvesting, the other should begin next week. To the south (Regions IX, X, XIV), harvest is expected third week of December for early varieties, and the first week of January for others.
