From the beginning of January, vegetables and other basic groceries will be more expensive.
According to the statement made by the President of the Union Commission for Stock, Mr. Hristo Milenkov the rise in prices concerns mainly vegetables.
"I can't say if it's because of our accession to EU or a season tendency, but tomatoes and cucumbers became more expensive" said Milenkov.
Last week, another statement came from President of Agrarproduct Association Mr. Ivalo Todorov, who said, that actually all tomatoes and cucumbers sold on the bulgarian market come from Turkey and Greece.
