Rewe Group complete Plus acquisition in Czech Republic

The Rewe-owned Penny discount chain have announced the completion of the takeover of the Tengelmann Plus-Discount stores in the Czech Republic.

 

 

The stores have been transferred to the Penny Market Brand.  The number of stores now operating under the Penny Market banner has increased to more than 300.
 

Penny Managing Director, Martin Peffek, said: "there has been a modernisation of all Plus stores in addition to the unification of the range and prices."
