Lidl : 107 more stores in in Romania

Lidl now has 107 stores in Romania after renaming the Plus Discount stores of the network.

Purchased in February 2010, the network of Plus Discount stores now goes under the name Lidl. Lidl has announced plans to open new stores in cities of over 30,000 inhabitants.

Having entered the Romanian market in 2005, Lidl operates Kaufland stores and all activities of Plus Discount Romania and Bulgaria. Over the last 2 years discount stores have been expanding rapidly in Romania, reaching 12% of market share.
