With this new achievement, Ecuador reinforces its position as a key player in the international fruit trade.
Ecuador recently managed to start exporting blueberries to Dubai, capital of the United Arab Emirates, marking a milestone in its global expansion strategy, according to local media.
The company behind this achievement announced that with this new destination it expects to reach monthly earnings close to $60,000 from blueberry exports during the next year.
Dubai is positioned as an important logistics hub that facilitates distribution to the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Since most of the products consumed in this region are imported, it is an excellent platform to introduce Ecuadorian products and expand its global reach.
