Tosca is strengthening its operations in Germany with two major developments: a new service centre in Salzkotten and an expansion of its Frechen facility.
Tosca, a global provider of reusable packaging solutions that help businesses move products more efficiently and sustainably. By offering durable plastic containers and pooling services, Tosca supports supply chains in retail, food, and agriculture, reducing waste and improving logistics performance across the board.
To keep up with rising demand from retail customers across Central Europe, Tosca is strengthening its operations in Germany with two major developments: a new service centre in Salzkotten and an expansion of its Frechen facility.
The newly launched Salzkotten site, which opened on February 1, 2025, adds 3,300 square metres of operational space and can handle up to 3.1 million half pallet trips each year. This investment is key to supporting the increasing use of Tosca’s reusable plastic half pallets among fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies.
Meanwhile, the Frechen service centre has doubled in size, creating room for an extra 2 million pallet trips annually. This move is designed to support Tosca’s expected business growth of over 30% in 2025.
Together, these projects aim to improve Tosca’s logistics network across Germany and ensure that retail partners get consistent and efficient service. The enhancements also reflect Tosca’s broader strategy to increase supply chain reliability and support the shift to sustainable, reusable packaging solutions.
These upgrades help Tosca stay ahead of demand while continuing to meet its customers’ expectations for performance and sustainability, according to Marco Gonzalez, Tosca’s Managing Director for Central Europe.
