As part of Fruit Logistica, various events provide information and innovative approaches on each link of the value-added chain to help all professionals make better decisions.
The topic of sustainability, especially in cultivation, packaging and transport, the effects of the climate crisis on producers, the digitization of agriculture and the changing flow of goods are just some of the complex challenges facing the international fruit trade.
.Fresh Produce Forum
From April 5 to 7, 2022, Hall 27, simultaneous translations in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
During 10 one-hour sessions, participants can learn about key challenges and explore solutions with international experts. With, for example, topics such as the behavior of tomorrow's customers, intelligent transport logistics solutions, climate and biodiversity protection for banana cultivation in the future, advanced smart technology for the retail trade.
.Logistics Hub
April 5 to 7, 2022, Hall 26, only in English.
In 5 interactive sessions, the Logistics Hub looks back over the past 2 years and tries to shed new light on some familiar topics. The pandemic has disrupted the supply chain for perishable products. Cold storage professionals, shippers and exporters of fresh produce need to strengthen dialogue and the show is the ideal forum for this.

April 5 to 7, 2022, Hall 2.2, simultaneous translations in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Among the topics covered: the prevention of food waste, the reduction of the quantities of packaging materials, or the evaluation of fruit crops using sensors.

From processing technology and cultivation methods, to greenhouse technology and watering systems that have a major impact on yield, developments are advancing rapidly in all areas. Artificial intelligence, robotics, transport, but also water treatment without chemicals.

The Tech Stage becomes Start-up Stage on April 7th. Young companies can present their business models, present their new technologies and share their points of view on the future of the sector.
