The Mexican producers aim at the Russian market

Mexico wishes to develop its offer on the Russian market which presents enormous potentialities.
After a participation which is not crossed unnoticed at Fruit Logistica where Mexico was the partner country, a delegation went in Russia.
Mexican Minister for Agriculture, Francisco Mayorga Castañeda, led this delegation which participated in the 17th forum Prodexpo, the biggest exhibition of foodstuffs of the Eastern Europe which took place from 8 till 12 February in Moscow.
"It is the second time when Mexico takes part in this exhibition", underlined M.Castañeda. "This participation is very important for us, because Russia establishes a potential market for various Mexican products ".
Mexico intends to diversify the proposed products in particular to offer to the Russian consumers of fruits "still unknown in Russia, but already available on the world market ".
In 2009, the trades between both countries reached about 565 million dollars.
