Leclerc prepares to enter Romania

Already present in Poland with 40 stores, the E. Leclerc Group is continuing to expand in Eastern Europe, preparing its entry into Romania.

The group E. Leclerc is preparing to make its debut on the Romanian market.

According to Mediafax Newswire, the French group will enter Romania with a first store in the suburbs of Bucharest with the owner of a parcel of 35 hectares in negotiations with Leclerc for the lease of land for building a store.

The new facility

would confirm the expansion of Leclerc in eastern Europe, where the group is already present with 40 stores in Poland and two in Slovenia. E. Leclerc also has 11 stores in Spain, 31 stores in Italy , 22 stores in Portugal, two stores in Andorra and two stores in Slovenia.
