UK supermarket chain Morrisons has confirmed that it is to close 3 distribution centres.
The company says that it has overcapacity in its distribution operations following the sale of around 200 of its Safeway stores.
The threat of strike action by workers over the closures has been averted following a last minute agreement between Morrisons management and unions.
