Liquidseal for Citrus makes possible to achieve an overall reduction in weight loss and lowering the amount of mold developed
This week Liquidseal R&D department released results and conclusions regarding an internal trail with lemons.
In this trail the Liquidseal for Citrus treated lemons outperformed the control group by significantly reducing weight loss and lowering the amount of mold developed over time. Therefore, the current formula proves to be functional on lemons and yielded 4,5% less weight loss, which is an overall reduction in weight loss of about 22% after late intervention.
In this trail the Liquidseal for Citrus was tested on lemons from South America with late intervention. It was used the time-frame of 2 weeks within indoors conditions and room temperature.
This test was done without the addition of a fungicide in Liquidseal. Earlier studies have shown that mixing of Liquidseal with commonly used fungicides increases the effectiveness and reduces mold development even more.
