HortResearch reveals new apple

New Zealand's HortResearch has developed an apple with a red flesh. The apple is rich in antioxidants, and will be available to growers in five to six years, once enough budstock has been developed. However, it is not expected to be seen in the shops for another 8 to 10 years.
