Over 111,000 tons of cashew nuts exported

More than 111,000 tons of cashew nuts have been exported so far this year, earning more than 466 million USD.
Viet Nam , currently the world largest cashew nut exporter, has shipped the product to more than 40 countries and territories. The US took 40 percent of Viet Nam ’s cashew nuts, followed by China (20 percent) and the European countries (20 percent). Other markets include Japan and the Middle East.
This year, Viet Nam ’s export cashew nut prices averaged 4,184 USD per tonne, an increase of 192 USD over last year.
