Banana exports decrease in volume and value in the first semester

Between January and June 2022, Peru exported 93,106,647 kilos of bananas worth $67,718,858, according to the Agrodata Peru portal.
The fruit was mainly destined for the markets of the Netherlands (29% of the total value), Panama (22%), the United States (14%), Belgium (10%), South Korea (7%), Italy (6%) , Germany (4%), Japan (4%), among others.
