Fresh onion exports by Peru between January and August 2022 totaled 123,143,681 kilos for an FOB price of $40,701,314, according to the report on the Agrodata Peru portal.
The main destinations were the United States (64% of the total FOB), Colombia (19%) and Spain (11%), followed by the Netherlands, Chile, Ecuador and others.
It should be noted that in the same period of the previous season, the country exported 140,609,056 kilos of fresh onion for an FOB value of $46,860,355.
