Blueberry exports from Lambayeque region (Peru) increased by 25% in 2021

To date, the Lambayeque region (Peru) has exported 35,108 tons of blueberries, which means a 25% increase compared to the previous season, according to Peru's Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation. It should be noted that the Blueberry Export Campaign 2021-2022 runs from June to January 2022.
Blueberries from that region were exported to Germany, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, China, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Canada, the United States, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Spain, England and India.
Currently, Lambayeque is positioned as the second producing region of this fruit after La Libertad.
