The Turkish exporting seedless grapes begins

According to information given by ·Aegean Exporters' Union , the export of Sultani variety will begin August 10 , while the variety of Mevlana ( Razaki ) is expected to start August 17. These two varieties of seedless table grapes are produced in the Aegean region .

Turkey is the third largest producer in terms of seedless grapes varieties. 25% of its production is destined for table grapes, while 35% become raisins , the rest being turned into wine and other beverages made from grapes.The grape growers ' union warns of the danger of its members to cut the grapes too early , before it has fully matured , causing a fall in prices on foreign markets and a poor image of the Turkish product.
