Univeg acquired Empire World Trade

Univeg has announced the completion of the acquisition of Empire World Trade (EWT). Located in Spalding, Lincolnshire (UK), Empire World Trade is an importer and distributor of upscale fruit quality which occupies a leading position in the UK market.

Commercial reasons for this acquisition are in conformity with strategic direction of Univeg and that of to develop on the British market.

In the future, common business activities will bear the name UNIVEG UK and will be managed by Alan Forrester and Mike Harpham as co-CEOs. David Pratt, the former CEO of EWT, will become a director of Univeg UK.
