South Africa delivers smaller volumes of Valencia oranges in EU

Till the end of 45 calendar week, South African citrus branch exported total volume of 35,2 million of cartons of Valencia oranges.

 

 

However the part of this citrus fruit delivered to European Union decreased from 50% last year to 40% this season what gives 6 million cartons less than last year.

 

 

More oranges were exported to Middle East countries – 8,5 million of cartons; 1,7 million cartons more than in 2008.
