Climate change will cause major changes
FJ
Australia's climate has always been a constraint to agricultural production. But with the announcement of global warming, the necessary adjustment will be an entirely different magnitude.
A recent report "Feeding the Hungry Nation" emphasizes that climate change will cause major changes in agriculture.
If nothing is done to try to limit global warming, current climatic zones could know a displacement of at least 900 km to the south, causing a modification of productions never seen before. Agricultural production will be lower because of hot days and dry spells that will multiply.
An adaptation / profound transformation will be necessary. In an attempt to mitigate the worst effects provided, "carbon-free" economy must be promoted as soon as possible.
