By the end of the year, Peruvian avocados will enter the Malaysian market, while mandarins will make their way to Vietnam. This was revealed by Vilma Gutarra, Export Specialist at the Plant Quarantine Subdirectorate of the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) during her presentation at Agrofest, an event organized by the Association of Agricultural Producers Guilds of Peru (AGAP).
Gutarra highlighted the collaborative efforts between Senasa and the private sector in the development of the country’s agro-exportation. “It is essential to have an integrated approach between the private sector and the government.”, she said.
