Good growth of Spanish exports for fruits and vegetables as they increased by 10% in value and 6% by volume.
The export of fruits and vegetables continue to grow. FEPEX has announced a 10% increase in value (838 millon euros) and 6% volume (908,872 tons) for fruit and vegetable exports in May compared to 2011.
Vegetables saw a 20% increase in value and 17
% in volume compared to May 2011.
From January to May, exports rose 5% in value and 4% in volume, reaching 3,776 million euros and 5.1 million tons.
For FEPEX, export growth is the result of demand in some key markets such as France, Germany and Russia.
