New warehouse for Banalliance

Banalliance, the Martinique banana growers alliance based in Dunkirk, has announced that it will build a new warehouse at the port of Dunkirk. The temperature controlled warehouse will have a surface area of 4800m² and will be able to handle 100,000 tonnes of bananas per year. The cost of the project is estimated to be around EUR 4 million. The warehouse is scheduled to open at the end of 2004.
