New Fair in Istanbul: FAV TURKEY

A press conference was held to explain what will the fair contain, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Livestock, the Istanbul World Trade Center, the Union of Scholarships and The Turkish Chambers of Commerce, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the Union of Pulse Exporters of Istanbul.
The aim of this event is to increase the market share of the Turkish fruit and vegetable sector globally by facilitating direct access by small and medium-sized producers to international trade, among others.
The sectors concerned will be fresh and dried fruits and vegetables, but also cut flowers and ornamental plants.
The Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce said in his presentation that despite a production of fresh fruits and vegetables of some 50 million tons per year, the export rate was only 5, but that through such organizations, Turkey could become the world leader in the export of fresh fruit and vegetables.
