Tesco market share over 30 percent

Tesco's share of the UK grocery market has passed the 30 percent mark. According to TNS market figures, Tesco currently has 30.3 percent of the market, up from 27.9 percent at the same period in 2004. Asda is number 2 with 16.4 percent, just ahead of Sainsbury's which has 15.9 percent.
