Bergamo Mercati is equipped with a new roof

The wholesale market has inaugurated its new roof.
Bergamo Mercati S.pA., 67% owned by the city of Bergamo and 33% by the private sector, has just launched the new cover of its intermediate corridors. The structure covers two middle corridors, separating areas for producers and wholesale warehouses. This new coverage is 3500 m2 and meets anti-seismic standards, the cost of the work amounted to € 1 million.
Bergamo Mercati is the 2nd wholesale market in the Lombardia region after that of Milan. The market sold 156,930 tons of products in 2012, it has 20 wholesalers and 75 producers.
