Low demand for Golden Delicious apples in Poland

According to the latest data demand for Golden Delicious apples has gone down within fruit market of Poland. Due to local specialists, Russian importers have recently decreased amounts of apple deliveries from Poland, instead they have started to import more apples from western countries. Russian importers set up high demands for fruits, they want only green apples of high quality. According to the official data, currently polish apples are second in quality comparing to the fruits delivered from western countries to Russia. At the moment polish exporting companies purchase Golden delicious apples only from warehouses equipped with controlled atmosphere at 0,34 – 0,4 EUROkg.
