Peapod expands its network of stores with virtual stations in the north-eastern United States.
Peapod, part of Ahold USA, has announced the launch of 100 new virtual grocery stores.
Peapod, a leading grocery stores on the Internet, is expanding its network with 100 new virtual grocery stores in stations frequented by commuters in Boston, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Chicago.
Customers have a choice of nearly 10,000 food items (drinks, snacks, cereals, fruits and vegetables, milk, bread) cleaning products and hygiene items. Panels reproduce the pictures of items that
just scan with a smartphone to order be delivered.
