TFE Landivisiau launches new transport lines
TFE Landivisiau makes the most of the cauliflowers campaign startup in Brittany to launch new transport lines, in particular towards South-Ovest of France.
After the startup of a fruit and vegetables transport specialized division, two years ago, TFE Landivisiau makes the most of the beginning of the 2009 cauliflowers campaign in Brittany to launch a new transport line towards South-Ovest of France. This line, from departure Saint Pol de Léon, Paimpol, and Saint Malo, will deliver the areas of Saintes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Agen and even Perpignan.
As innovator in the fruit and vegetables transport in its sector, TFE Landivisiau works with a computerized operating system, that uses the laser plotting labels with bar codes (infoquai), this saves signalling errors and guarantees a complete traceability.
Moreover, in Landivisiau, all trailer trucks are equipped with "multi-temperature", in order to maintain an optimal cold chain for every product range (tomatoes 8° - 12°, cauliflowers 2° - 4°).
All trailer trucks are equipped with a real-time geo-localization system which allows the customers to keep informed on the delivery and also on the temperature in the trailer-truck, as well as an internet display system of the signed receipt.
