Iran Food + Bev Tec 2013

In Iran, the international exhibition of food, beverages and technologies in the food industry "Food + Bev Tec Iran" will inaugurate the twentieth edition, from 28 to 31 May 2013.

The organizers expect to have more than 250 exhibitors and 22,000 visitors; the previous edition had recorded 22,821 visitors and 242 exhibitors from 17 countries.

Iran Food + Bev Tec is the leading trade fair in Iran for the food and beverage. The trade fair is the ideal platform for foreign companies who want to enter the Iranian market and for local manufacturers, who are looking to upgrade their facilities.

As for exports of technologies for the food, the Iranian market is the largest market in the Middle East. The Iranian imports reached 361.8 million dollars in 2011 (293.1 million in 2009), Germany, Italy, China, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands are the leading suppliers.
