Auchan to expand on the Iberian market

The Alcampo enterprise, subsidiary of the French distribution chain Auchan, has announced it is to take over two Carrefour hypermarkets in Alcobendas and San Andria. The operation will be effective on August 1st. Thanks to these acquisitions, Alcampo runs 11 hypermarkets in Madrid and 4 in Catalonia, that is to say a total of 41 hypermarkets all over the country.
